Textures in Photography

I wanted to share something I've been playing around with today. One of the latest trends in photography is using textures on top of your pictures.

Here is a picture I took today of my daughter SOOC (straight out of the camera)

This is a picture of some metal I took out by a trash pile...

And here is the final result after a couple of actions were added (sepia and sharpening)...
